Bluetooth 4.0 Released

This new version is lower energy consumption than Bluetooth 3.0 or Bluetooth 2.1.

Bluetooth 2.0 is ancient. Some vendors adopt Bluetooth 2.1 massively to this day. Even some of them began to switch to Bluetooth 3.0.

The Bluetooth SIG is now ready to begin qualifying the types of products adopting Bluetooth version 4.0. The first devices with Bluetooth 4.0 support is expected to appear before the end of this year.

Bluetooth 4.0 will optimize low power consumption on mobile devices operational. The low energy consumption is expected to meet market demands. Especially for health care products (health care), sport, most of which tools need to consume low energy wireless connectivity, and cost effective.
