It's no secret if the acquisition of Hewlett-Packard (HP) on the Palm will bear the tablet product. News emerged, the name it is later PalmPad.

As reported CrunchGear, Tuesday (20/07/2010), HP has registered the name 'PalmPad' to the Patent and Trademark Office of the United States.

Although there has been no official word, predictable names will be used for tablet-based products WebOS his Palm.

HP plans to enter the arena of tablet computers has long sounded. At first that rumors are cooperating with Microsoft to create named Slate tablets products that use Windows 7.

After the acquisition of Palm, tablet-based products WebOS sounds much more sexy than the Slate. Combination Palm capabilities in software and user interface plus the reliability of HP hardware is believed to be a 'deadly duo'.

Through this trademark registration, it seems HP is ready to make it happen. But, when 'PalmPad' will come true?
