Second Generation iPad : Rolled up

iPad second generation which will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year has a unique shape, can be rolled up.

According to Digitimes sources Taipei, Apple has ordered the components for new iPad was at a company in Taiwan. The plan is that rolling tablet computer will be launched in the fourth quarter of this year or early 2011.

There are three display models that have been ordered, ie, 9.7-inch screen, 5.6 inches, and 7-inches. iPad 5.6 and 7-inch model will be targeting the e-book reader market, while the 9.7-inch model will become a multimedia entertainment device.

But making OLED screens are pretty expensive cost. According to Digitimes Research senior analyst, Mingchi Kuo, prices iPad LCD screen size 9.7 inches for U.S. $ 60 to U.S. $ 70, while the price of OLED screen of the same size around U.S. $ 500.
