Netbook with Latest Intel Atom Starts Sale

Intel Corporation announced a dual-core mobile processor Intel Atom, which has been available in many leading vendors such as Acer, ASUS, Fujitsu, Lenovo, LG, Samsung, MSI, and Toshiba.

With this newest Atom processor, enabling the netbook to get the best support for applications such as games, as well as Adobe Flash technology in accessing some web pages including online hotel booking system and multimedia sites like YouTube and Hulu.

Quoted by Yahoo News, today, about eight million netbooks shipped per quarter him. Intel hopes this figure can grow together with a large computer makers to add new models.

"In a short time, the netbook category has experienced impressive growth," said Erik Reid, Head of Marketing for mobile platforms at Intel Corporation.
