A hardware company named Displax already started marketing the Skin, a film that can turn any surface into a touch screen non iron interactive.
As quoted from Mashable, Wednesday (08/18/2010), users can put the Skins on various surfaces, either flat or wavy. Users also can use it to download the content display are preferred. Skin with multi-touch technology can detect six fingers at once and also can detect air movement.
Skin is the material that is transparent and works well on the transparent surface. Users can put the Skins on the glass surface and to display its contents through the glass.
This unique hardware to work through the nanowire system mounted on the polymer film on the skin. Skin users can use the screen, not just with the touch but can also blow it out.
"Electrical disturbances are detected to make a micro-processor controller is able to show movement or direction of air flow," according to the Displax.
"We can imagine the millions of uses of this technology, ranging from business presentation, treatment, museums, schools, video-games, and others," he added.
