Yes, this Japanese company has patented new stereoscopic display technologies in 3D, making it possible for gamers to view the images himself or herself or each on the same 3D TV.
In theory these technologies will prevent players to see their opponent's movements when taking part in a separate screen when multiple gaming.
Eventually this technology will work by splitting the TV picture into a separate 3D perspective to one for each player.
Sony has included a detailed illustration in the patent, including how the technology works and the 3D glasses will work.
Unfortunately there is no new information on these new technologies. Including when Sony products will adopt these innovations. Because everything is still a mystery and kept in secret.
