Barnes & Noble Develop Android Applications for Nook

Although the e-reader device's Barnes & Noble did not show good performance, they finally decided to make the eReader application rather than increase the number of devices.

B & N to try their wings by creating Android based eReader application named Nook for Android. With this application is expected to be increasingly interested consumers to buy digital books from B & N.

Nook for Android is not just an application that enables its users to read digital books. The application also allows users Android-based smartphone to buy digital books at B & N eBookstore. In the digital book store, B & N has more than one million books, including new books, best seller, and free.

In addition, these applications will also be connected with a personal library of eBooks available in Nook eReader, which can be accessed online or other devices compatible with the B & N eReader.
