Google earlier this week launched a program that allows anyone to create simple applications on smartphones with Android operating system.
"Inventor App for Android" facilitate all those programmers and non-programmers, professionals and students-to create an Android OS-based mobile phone applications.
Google said in his blog post, "To use the App Inventor, you do not have to become a developer, this tool is NOT (capital letters from Google, ed.) Requiring knowledge of programming."
Instead of typing the code, 'App Inventor' allow a user to create applications visually by arranging code blocks such as children's toys 'Lego'.
Some of the 'code block' is already programmed, for example, to store information, repeat the action - repeat an action, and take action only under certain conditions.
"You can make all kinds of applications you can imagine through the App Inventor," explains Google in a post on his blog.
App Inventor provides access to a sensor location - GPS, so that we can create an application that shows the location of a person.
"You can make an application to know where you parked your car, an application that shows the location of your friends or colleagues when watching a concert or while attending a conference," Google added.
Android, an open source platform has been used by several leading handset manufacturers to support the device.
Google, the Internet giant said more than 160,000 mobile-backed Android OS was sold each day.
