30 Million Businessman Using Google Apps

Google claims that Google Apps users has reached 30 million people, all incoming business category. Google Apps is an application that is launched as the security features for Web-based suite of office tools.

"On this day, more than three million businesses already use Google and more than 30 million corporate users, schools and organizations now depend on messaging and collaboration tool that is protected by Google Apps," Google said in her blog posting, quoted by the Straits Times, on Tuesday (21/09/2010).

Google Apps includes the product or service like Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Docs and is viewed by Google as an answer to the challenge to the popular Microsoft Office software.

Google said that improving the security of Google Apps, a hosted on the Web rather than on a user's personal computer and accessed through a browser. With two verification steps, the user enters a password and verification code and then sent to their mobile device.

"This makes it more likely that you are the one who accessed your data. Even if someone has stolen your password, they will need more than that to access your account," Google said.
