A partnership has been agreed by the Taiwanese company with Pegatron Technology HTC smart phone vendors. Pegatron reportedly will soon be producing a tablet that is applied to the Android based HTC's.
HTC Tablet Pegatron production will be supported by Nvidia Tegra processors 2 and features a 1280 × 720 panel multi-touch, SSD 32GB, 2GB of storage memory including support WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS capabilities.
"With support from Nvidia platform, performance multimedia device is expected to be stronger than the iPad. Tablet also will have the support of software like Chrome Web applications and the Android Market from Google," says a description Pegatron, cited Digitimes, Wednesday (22 / 9 / 2010).
"Since the HTC has the advantage because of the relationship with telecommunications operators around the world, the tablet PC market observers believe that HTC should achieve better sales than other notebook brands, with the price of the tablet PC is estimated at USD790," he added.
This tablet most likely will use the Android version 2.2 or known as Froyo. Although Froyo get own-key tone because that version is not maximized for the tablets.
Nevertheless, analysts are optimistic, if you want to bring the killer iPad, the vendor must maximize the features that are considered trivial, and pressing affordable price possible.
