3D TV Hazardous to Health?

Three dimensions of technology adopted by more and more television manufacturers of the world. Call it LG, and Samsung, which have issued a product on the market 3D television.

But these latest technological sophistication, questioned a number of people including a U.S. consumer protection agency. The reason is 3D television could be considered harmful to health. Thus was launched the International Business Times, Wednesday (03/06/2010).

According to the commissioner of consumer protection agency, Anne Driscoll, 3D TV has a negative effect on the health of children, pregnant women and people with epilepsy. According to Ms. Driscoll, one of the leading 3D television producers have been advised not to watch TV in 3D under fluorescent lights or a bright light directly.

"The suggestion was also revealed that 3D television screens should not be placed near the stairs, balcony or other area, because it could cause an accident because the audience will easily dizzy and confused," he said.

Japanese electronics, Samsung also reminded that 3D television could also trigger a stroke in the long term. But so far only possible audience will experience dizziness and seizures may also occur.

"Every buyer is interested in 3D television should consult with a staff member, or visit the manufacturer's website, to ensure that the product is suitable and safe for his health," said Driscoll.
