On the Amazon site product page indicates that the scheduled launch is on October 26, 2010. While the product page for the 'Mac Office 2011 Home and Family Pack' is not listed release date, as quoted from the NY Daily News on Monday (9/13/2010).

The announcement of the price of Mac Office 2011 had previously been announced by Microsoft, with the price range of USD119 for a single coffee 'Home and Student Edition' and USD199 for the 'Home and Business Edition'. Multi-pack package will certainly cost more expensive.
Microsoft provides the Mac community a preview of the Office in February 2011 yesterday at the MacWorld show. The company is also showing a video about the software, which is shown to the audience, new features, such as interface "ribbon" that formerly existing in Office 2007 and Office 2010.
In addition, Office 2010 package also includes a template gallery with thousands of designs.
