Tablet BlackBerry is Named Playbook

Finally, Research in Motion (RIM) introduced its new tablet in the event the BlackBerry Developer Conference, San Francisco, USA. However BlackPad not selected as the name of their tablets. Then what?

Announced directly by RIM CEO Mike Lazardis, BlackBerry tablet was named Playbook. The announcement was at once broken the issues that mentions that the BlackPad into tablets name of this Canadian company.

Launched by Engadget, there are several previous allegations that were indeed embedded in the Playbook. One of them is, this tablet using operating system BlackBerry Tablet OS created by the QNX, a software company recently acquired by RIM.

BlackBerry Tablet OS offers full OpenGL and POSIX support in addition to web standards like HTML5, which all tied into the SDK WebWorks.

"QNX will allow the things you've never seen before. This platform is very fit for superb gaming to developers and the players," said Lazardis.

"RIM also praised the ability of guidelines to handle Flash content through Flash 10.1, and Adobe AIR applications that are very attractive for the ability to run rich media," he said.
