3TB Hard Drive Deskstar 7K3000 Hitachi First with a 3.5-inch 7200RPM

Hitachi launches new hard drive Hitachi Deskstar 7K3000 series which is a 3.5-inch hard drives with capacities up to 3TB. Hitachi 7K3000 series is the first 6Gb SATA hard drive from Hitachi and is the industry's first 3.5-inch hard drive with a capacity of 3TB 7200RPM speed. Hard drive has a 64MB cache memory to improve performance.

Hitachi Deskstar 7K3000 has a halogen-free design and offers efficient power operation. In addition to 3TB, Hitachi 7K3000 series also comes in 2TB and 1.5TB capacity model.
