Booting Chrome OS Notebook Just 10 Seconds

Officially, Google introduced netbook based Chrome OS to consumers its United States (U.S.). There are several specifications that are offered by this notebook.

Claimed by Google, the notebook that working with Verizon is able to boot less than 10 seconds. Carrying the 12.1-inch screen with full keyboard and touch pad on the other hand, make this notebook more stable.

Launched by TG Dailyt his first Chrome OS notebook will be available for sale by Acer and Samsung in the first half of 2011. Battery strength notebook itself capable of achieving 8 hours and eight days of standby time.

Although will arrive early next year, additional models based on various factors form designed by other vendors, are expected to arrive later this year.

"We have not yet finished, but the Chrome OS is the stage where we need feedback from real users. Some of the features of Chrome OS requires new hardware. But we do not want to sell computers pre-beta," said Google's vice president Linus Upson.

"Instead, we launched a pilot program where we will provide a test to the quality of notebook users, developers, schools and businesses. We started in the United States and will expand to other countries after we get the necessary certification," he added.

Upson also emphasized that Chrome OS is designed to work in "various" screen size and form factor, which will allow manufacturers to design devices based on cloud computing.

"Many people have spent their time on the web browser, and we built an operating system that essentially is a browser, we can make computers faster, simpler and fundamentally more secure," he added.
