Samsung TV Ready Complemented Google Software

Samsung Electronics Co., the world's largest television manufacturer, said it would complement their homemade TV with Google software. This was done in order to compete with Sony Corp. that offers a TV capable of browsing the Internet.

The company, based in Suwon, South Korea, is also likely to meet with Google until the end of 2010, as disclosed Yoon Boo Keun, head of Samsung's TV business. Unfortunately he's without giving further details about this cooperation.

TV makers like Samsung and Sony are entering the TV demand for Web-based programming. Companies bet on Google's Android operating system to compete with Apple Inc, which earlier this month released a TV box called Apple TV worth USD99, which provides rental movies, and TV shows from the Internet.

Released by Bloomberg, Tuesday (09/07/2010) Sony in May launched a prototype of a set of Bravia TVs that will be embedded with video and music via the internet which is a result of the partnership with Google. This TV is expected to present their own stores in the coming Christmas

Apple TV presents a variety of improvements that is claimed to be able to attract users to watch a new-style entertainment. One of them is the ability to watch high quality video Definition (HD) 720p quality.

Ability to present HD video service is not independent of the ARM embedded processor A4, the same as those found in the four iPhone, iPad and new iPod touch.

With Apple TV customers can enjoy TV and movie streaming service provided by Apple. Plus, users can also enjoy content from Netflix, access photos on Flickr, watch YouTube videos and more.
